カバー・アルバム『Got it covered』デビュー作『What You Around』と続けざまにヒットを飛ばしたKurt Baker。ニュー・アルバム『Brand New Beat』のプロモーションもまっただ中の彼らがアカデミー監修のコンピレーション『This Christmas Time 2』に書き下ろし新曲「Christmas In The Sand」で参加してくれた。
作曲はKurtとおなじみSecond SaturdayのWyatt Funderburk。今回公開された「Christmas In The Sand」のMVは、なんとメンバーのGeoffとJackieのクリスマス・パーティーで勢いでフィルムされたものだとか。なんとも幸せで、ポジティヴな空気溢れるビデオがぼくらのクリスマスまで明るくしてくれそうだ。
